Job description

We are seeking experienced, dedicated, and creative individuals to join our dynamic team as we embark on an exciting five-year growth strategy. Enhanced DBS check required before working any shifts. Completion of Gift Aid Training is mandatory. You will receive continuous coaching, support, and development from other managers during your shifts, with the potential to advance and become a keyholder the stores and more managerial tasks outlined in this job description. This job description outlines general duties but may evolve as the organization grows. The post-holder may occasionally be asked to take on other reasonable tasks. Key Responsibilities -Achieve shop income and Gift Aid goals by enhancing processes and coaching staff -Manage pricing, stock processing, and ensure adherence to policies while training and recognizing volunteers -Monitor sales, stock, and category performance, while engaging the team in the shop’s financials -Innovate to increase income through shop activities and community events -Ensure excellent customer service -Actively gather and respond to customer and donor feedback -Strengthen local networks to boost donations and volunteer engagement -Source high-quality donations and manage stock systems, ensuring compliance -Ensure proper sale procedures both new and donated goods -Recruit, train, and retain a diverse and motivated volunteer team -Coach new staff and lead by example in communication and teamwork -Maintain a clean, legal, and safe environment across all shop areas -Ensure adherence to health, safety, and waste policies -Represent in the local community and at internal events -Integrate the shop within local networks and promote the charity’s mission -Respond to fundraising initiatives and safeguard the team -Follow all financial and safeguarding procedures -Identify personal development needs and actively seek growth opportunities -Report any stock discrepancies and security concerns to management
